Welcome to the majestic Poudre Canyon!

The Trading Post Resort is located in the scenic Poudre Canyon approximately 45 miles west of Fort Collins, Colorado. We have 13 cabins available for rent all year and we also have a small store on-site with souvenirs, fishing supplies, and groceries.

We are just a hop, skip, and jump away from approximately 70 miles of the Poudre River to choose your favorite fishing hole, to explore or hike, or to just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Six miles up the canyon are various lakes that all provide excellent fishing opportunities, including many high-altitude lakes. Hundreds of miles of scenic hiking trails, ORV trails, cross-country ski/snowshoe trails, snowmobile trails, and downhill/snowboarding opportunities are within close proximity of the resort as well.

Whether you are seeking a quiet place to hike or picnic by sparkling lakes, streams, and rivers, a tour of the scenic Cache La Poudre River, fishing along the river or in some of the most popular fishing lakes in Colorado, the Trading Post Resort offers our patrons an opportunity to experience Colorado’s scenic outdoors and wildlife.
